SPEAKERS' RECEPTION (by invitation)

A reception for Conference Speakers and Session Chairs will be held on Sunday evening 2 June in Plassey House, University of Limerick from 19:00 until 21:00. Speakers and Session Chairs will have an opportunity to meet and discuss the sessions and presentations.

All conference participants and accompanying persons are invited to attend the following social events.

OPENING BARBECUE SUPPER - Sponsored by BT Ignite

Date: Monday 3 June 2002
Time: 19:30 - 21:00

Breaking with TERENA tradition, we have planned a casual, outdoor barbecue to welcome delegates to the conference. The venue offers an outdoor atmosphere, but is protected in case of rain. This welcome party is included in the Accompanying Persons Registration Fee and tickets may be purchased for additional family members for EUR 20 at the Registration Desk in the Atrium of the Concert Hall on Monday (i.e. additional to a registered delegate and a registered accompanying person).

Dress: very casual!

GALA EVENING - Entertainment sponsored by eircom

Date: Wednesday 5 June 2002
Time: 20:00 - 23:00
Location: Bunratty Folk Park and Fitzpatrick's Conference Centre , Bunratty

At 18:30, buses from the hotels and Dromroe Village will take participants and their guests to Bunratty Folk park for a cocktail. This historic village captures the charm of rural Ireland in the nineteenth century. From here it is a short stroll to Fitzpatrick's Conference Centre, Bunratty. Tickets may be purchased for additional family members for EUR 20 at the Registration Desk in the Atrium of the Concert Hall on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (i.e. additional to a registered delegate and a registered accompanying person).

An additional late bus will leave from the University Concert Hall after the BoF's and meetings and will travel directly to Fitzpatrick's Convention Centre for the dinner.
